I hope that stories like this are making Americans wake up to the fact that Israel will take your cash, your weapons, and your UN vetoes but if you visit Israel and engage in peaceful protest against their war crimes and crimes against humanity they will kill you or injure you without a second thought because you have made them above the law.

Israel slaughters 34 and wounds 173 American servicemen and civilians.

Story here and here

Forty-Three years ago today Israel showed exactly what they think of American lives.

Those who died have been forgotten by their country. Their lives clearly meant nothing to America.

Those who survived have asked for justice for 43 years but they have instead found themselves threatened to stay silent. Many refuse to be silenced even though they risk their lives and liberty to speak out.

Successive U.S. governments and congress have refused to seek justice for the dead or wounded. WHY??? Why is Israel so protected by the U.S. that it can even kill Americans and walk away unchallenged?

Can you imagine serving your country and then finding that your country couldn't give a damn about your human rights? These men went through a monstrous attack at Israel's hands but I am sure that their treatment by their fellow Americans has left deeper scars than bombs and bullets.

How unfortunate that it falls to people like me and others around the world to speak out for these men and to remember those who died that day. Shame on all America.

It's great to see this happening and also wonderful to see American Iraq war veteran Michael Prysner being a part of it all.

Click here to read the article and to learn more about how Prysner discovered the truth about American's attack and occupation of Iraq and he's now doing something that is truly about a fight for freedom, justice and equality.

Is it any wonder because brutality to others always comes home to roost but they really do seem to want to show the world how depraved Israeli society has become?

ABC Middle East Correspondent Anne Barker becomes Israel's latest international victim.

It's nothing new because they do it to tourists most days, especially Christians visiting holy sites. Anyone in the know will always advise tourists to carry a brolly. Ick!

What really gets me is that people who are religious, even these losers need to understand that they are entitled to live the way they want to live but then so are the rest of us. Sadly children are raised by religious nuts all over the world and in an ideal world I believe children should be free of any religious instruction especially when it's extreme. Religion should be left for adults to explore and make up their own minds but unfortuntaly we all know that most religious people are too scared that their children won't accept religion unless they are indoctrinated from birth. :0(

Obama talks about Israel freezing settlements and then in a quiet room away from the glare of media he hands over more than two billion U.S. dollars to Israel.

You can buy an awful lot of building materials with that amount of cash although it's more likely it will fund the ethnic cleansing and genocide of Palestinians.

Obama has no cash for California.

Obama has no cash for the Americans who are losing their homes.

Obama has no cash for the Americans who have lost their jobs.

Obama has no cash for the Americans in desperate need of healthcare.

Obama has no cash for the American schools in the poorest neighbourhoods.

Why are Americans watching their hand earned tax dollars go to prop up the Zionist regime?

WHY?

It's not about Israeli security because Israel is using the cash to create more enemies with each passing day. And it certainly doesn't make America safer because backing a racist, lawless state like Israel only puts America and American citizens in the firing line.

Press release 09/07/2009

A delegation from ECESG met EU Foreign Policy coordinator JavierSolana.

A high-profile delegation of the European Campaign to End the siege on Gaza, (ECESG) met on Wednesday, the EU Foreign Policy coordinator, Javier Solana. The meeting discussed ways of ending the blockade imposed on 1.5 million in Gaza, now in its fourth year. The delegation discussed the possibility of reviewing trade treaty between EU and Israel.

The delegation chaired by Arafat Madi, Head of ECESG met Solana in his office in Brussels. The delegation included a number of EU parliamentarians and politicians notably, British Baroness Jenny Tonge(head of European campaign to release Palestinian MPs), Clare Short MP and former minister in Tony Blair’s Govt., EU parliament vice president, Louisa Morgantini and Majed alzeer the general director of the Palestinian Return Centre.

The delegation offered its perspective on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. It requested the EU to intensify its efforts in solving the cause in the Middle East as Europe is a key player in the area. Moreover, it has to press for the immediate need to end the siege on Gaza as the people face grim reality of the siege on a daily basis. Additionally, the issue of Palestinian prisoners was put on table especially those Palestinian MPs incarcerated in Israeli prisons.

Delegation member and director of Palestinian Return Center, Majed alzeer, said that, “The meeting was extremely comprehensive and focused on various sensitive issues related to Palestinians. We have requested that Palestinians be given their rights and an international framework in providing for these rights had to be created. The delegation expressed that there is a need to push Israeli leadership to abide by International laws and respect the rights of Palestinians.”

In a press release alzeer pointed out that the delegation demanded from the EU to suspend upgrading the relations with Israel expected to happen next year.

“It’s an ironic stance that EU officials still don’t talk with representatives of Palestinians who were democratically elected. The will of the Palestinian people should be respected. There is a legal Palestinian government formed in Gaza and has won the majority in the parliament, headed by Ismail Haniya.” The delegation told Solana.

For his part, EU Foreign Policy coordinator, Javier Solana expressed the EU dissatisfaction towards Israeli policies particularly its illegal settlements policy emphasizing that the EU stance consider settlements as illegal and a violation of International law.

ECESG delegation also provided Solana with reports about the campaign’s visits in Gaza and the grim humanitarian conditions there, which requires further international efforts just to meet the basic needs of the people in Gaza .

Called By Emily Thornberry, Labour Member of Parliament for Islington South, London. Emily is the constituency MP for Alex Harrison, one of the British passengers on board the Spirit of Humanity.

Emily will be introducing the debate, raising a number of questions relating to the illegality of Israel’s actions in relation to the Spirit, its passengers and crew and towards the population of the Gaza Strip.

The Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (Ivan Lewis) will be responding on behalf of the British Government.

Thank goodness for a few good people.

I doubt this will get them anywhere but it is all gradually increasing awareness even if most of the west's citizens are too self obsessed to take notice.

Larnaca, Cypus, July 3, 2009: This morning, the five kidnapped passengers from Bahrain left Israel via a private jet sent by their king. They will hold a press conference in Bahrain tonight at 7 pm Bahrain time. The two Al Jazeera journalists will be freed sometime today, their equipment given back to them but not the footage of the Israeli terrorist frogmen boarding the boat and roughing up some of the passengers.

All passengers are fine, but they are still imprisoned by a country that illegally boarded their small boat, towed it, and confiscated the supplies that had already been inspected in Cyprus.

The following message has come from Captain Denis inside the prison cell in Israel where he is being held, along with 11 more of our passengers, including former Congresswoman, Cynthia McKinney and Nobel Peace Laureate, Mairead Maguire.

"At least four of us went to a hearing yesterday, and we were told we were going to be deported. However, they did not tell us where we were going or when. The boat has been impounded and all of the charts stolen by the Israeli navy. The people at the prison told us we would get all of our stuff back today, but, so far, that has not been true.

It appears as though the Israeli government is drilling for natural gas in the buffer zone. That gas belongs to the people of Gaza. It seems to be one of their reasons for stopping us, perhaps they're worried that we may go back and tell the world what we have seen."

When asked if he thought the Free Gaza Movement would go again, his response was, "Of course. We're going to get another boat, or more than one boat and we will head toward Gaza again."
